Mom Who Wanted A Baby Girl Commits Suicide After Finding Out She Was Pregnant With Twin Boys

A pregnant mother-of-two who desperately wanted a daughter jumped from a cliff-top when she discovered the twins she was carrying were boys, a coroner’s court has been told.

Anna Byrne, 35, a nurse from Dunboyne, County Meath, was left ‘devastated’ when ultrasound scans in March this year showed she would be having two more boys.

In the months before her death she noticed baby girls everywhere and avoided her friends – particularly those with daughters.

In the early hours of March 8, six days after attending a psychiatrist complaining that she was feeling low, she jumped from a cliff-top at Howth summit, Dublin, the city’s Coroner’s Court was told.

Mrs Byrne was in the last days of her pregnancy and was due to give birth by caesarean section on March 29.

Ray Charron, a 37-year-old Florida man was jailed Saturday after he allegedly tried to steal a man's bike, then fled police by climbing up a tree.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Bell Lake and Padgett roads after the victim called 911 to report that his bike had been stolen.

When deputies arrived, the victim stated that he had been riding his bike when Charron pushed him off the bike and then placed it into the bed of his truck.

When the deputy tried to question Charron about the incident, he became combative and fought with the officer. When the deputy called for assistance, Charron used the opportunity to climb up a 30-foot tree.

Deputies repeatedly asked Charron to come back down, but he refused, creating an 11-hour stand-off with deputies that lasted from 2 p.m. that afternoon until 1 a.m. when Charron finally surrendered.

Charron was booked into the Pasco County Jail and charged with robbery, battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Bail in his case has been set at $15,000.

Charron has a long list of prior offenses that include battery, domestic battery, criminal mischief, contempt of court and robbery.

 A Key West, Florida man took his own life two days after President Barack Obama won a second term in The White House, having previously warned loved ones of his intentions to kill himself in lieu of an Obama victory.

Henry Hamilton was found dead on Nov. 8, with his home littered with empty pill bottles. According to palmbeachpost.com a suicide note was found that said:
“Do not revive! F*ck Obama!”

Hamilton lived with his partner Michael Cossey, who was the first to find the body after returning home from an evening out with friends.

Cossey says Hamilton told him “If Barack gets re-elected, I’m not going to be around.”
Florida officials do not believe Hamilton’s death to be anything other than a suicide and will not be investigating the matter further.

Man Arrested For Speeding Down The Highway With His Girlfriend Clinging To The Hood Of The Car

 Jonathon Salas, of Gwinnett County Georgia, was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly sped down a highway at 85 miles per hour with his girlfriend clinging to the hood of his car.

According to Gwinnett County Police, the horrifying experience began when Salas and his girlfriend got into an altercation at their apartment. Salas stormed out to his vehicle while his girlfriend, 19-year-old Leidy Amu, begged him not to go.

When Salas got into his car to leave, Amu reportedly jumped onto the hood of the car hoping it would stop him from driving off. Apparently it didn't.

Investigators say Salas sped out of the parking lot and made a sharp U-turn in route to Interstate 85. Investigators are surprised the woman wasn't thrown from the vehicle at that point.

Salas then sped onto Interstate 85, reaching speeds of 85 miles per hour while the woman beat on the vehicle's windshield begging him to stop.

Luckily for the victim, motorists became aware of her ordeal and boxed Salas in with their vehicles. The good Samaritans then gradually slowed their vehicles down, forcing Salas to slow to a stop. One motorist took a photograph of Salas's vehicle during the high drama event.

During an interview at a local radio station, Amu blamed herself for the ordeal, stating that she provoked the confrontation. She then defended her asshat boyfriend by stating "We all make mistakes."

Salas was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail and charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct and simple battery.

Judge Offers To Keep Man Out Of Jail If He Goes To Rehab & He Asks For One Last Joint Before He Goes

A judge in Ohio was shocked when a drug defendant asked if he could smoke one more joint.

Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Melba Marsh offered to keep 19-year-old Damaine Mitchell out of jail and clear his record if he went to treatment and gave up marijuana, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

His response?

That would be "a challenge," Mitchell told Marsh, adding he likes smoking weed and has been doing so since he was 10 years old.

Eventually, Mitchell said he'd try to quit, but not before asking if he could "at least get one more joint in?"

William R. Burgess, a 55-year-old Utah man was jailed Wednesday after he allegedly admitted to having sex with a neighbor's horse.

According to police, an investigation was launched after Burgess's sister contacted authorities and told them that she had uncovered evidence that indicated her brother had begun having sex with a horse.

During a police interview, Burgess allegedly admitted to the deed.

Investigators say Burgess told detectives that he walked to a neighbor's ranch with a bag of horse feed and a halter. Burgess used the horse feed to lure the horse close to him, then used the halter to keep the animal steady while engaging in sex with her.

Burgess was booked into the Purgatory Correctional Facility and charged with six counts of bestiality, one felony count of burglary, one count of theft and one count of criminal trespass. His next court appearance has been set for Nov. 19.

Online arrest records also seem to indicate that Burgess was convicted of forcible sexual abuse in March, 2006.

Arrested After Locking Naked Toddler Outside In A Dog Cage

William Lewallen, a 47-year-old Oklahoma man jailed Sunday after police found three unattended, naked children on his property. One child was found locked in a dog cage, covered with feces.

According to police, officers were dispatched to Lewallen's residence after a neighbor heard the screams of a child who had been stripped naked and locked outside in the cold while the boy's father was passed out inside.

Investigators say officers arrived at the residence and could immediately hear a child screaming from inside the residence.

While looking for an open entrance into the house, officers came upon an 18-month-old girl who was naked, covered in feces and locked inside a dog cage.

When the officers kicked in the home's back door, they encountered a second naked child inside who seemed to be unattended. A further sweep of the house revealed a third naked child who was asleep on a bed in the master bedroom.

Officers also found Lewallen who was passed out next to the child.

During a police interview, Lewallen stated that he fell asleep after ingesting a combination of pain meds, a muscle relaxer and anti-seizure medication.

"The screaming child in the dog kennel did not wake the defendant nor did the officers kicking the door down to rescue the toddler in the dog cage," stated a police arrest affidavit.

Officers also noted in their report that the home had no heat (it was about 40 degrees that day) and there was little food in the house to eat.

Lewallen was booked into jail and charged with felony child neglect. His bond has been set at $50,000.

DDOT Bus Rider Shoots Another Passenger For Stepping On His Foot

 Tempers flared — and a gun was pulled out — after one man accidentally stepped on the foot of another on board a D-DOT bus.

Detroit Police said it happened early Sunday afternoon when the bus lurched, causing the man to step on the other man’s foot. The passenger apologized, but the man was apparently still angry and when they came to their stop at Gratiot and Conner, he shot the man in the leg.

The gunman ran from the scene and was last seen going down Conner. Police said the shooting victim is in serious condition at a local hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call Detroit Police.

An unidentified 42-year-old South Africa man was jailed Sunday after the genitals of an 18-year-old nephew were found in his wallet.

According to Eastern Cape province police, the disappearance of an 18-year-old Ngcobo man took a bizarre turn Sunday afternoon when detectives found the missing man's genitals in a wallet belonging to his uncle.

Investigators say detectives were interviewing the uncle about the disappearance when they discovered a dismembered penis in the man's wallet. Pressed for answers, the uncle eventually led detectives to his nephew's dead body.

The body was missing a head, arms and legs, however those body parts were found a short distance away from the torso, according to police spokesperson Mzukisi Fatyela.

Local police released few details about the case, however, they did not rule out the possibility that the murder might be classified as a "muti" killing.

Muti killings involve the removal of body parts from a human body which are then used by witchdoctors in various potions. Demand for such body parts has become an ongoing problem in South Africa, particularly in the region surrounding Johannesburg.

The uncle was taken into custody and is expected to be charged with murder.

 Deby Mejia, a 23-year-old Houston woman has been jailed after she allegedly beat her 10-year-old sister unconscious for eating Cheetos.

According to police, Mejia began caring for her 10-year-old sister after their mother was deported to Honduras.

Investigators say the teen went to a neighbor's apartment October 11 and returned with a bag of Cheetos while Mejia was at the store.

When Mejia returned and saw the girl eating Cheetos, she exploded into a rage and began beating the teen with an extension cord.

Mejia then grabbed the teen by the hair and began slamming her head against the floor until the teen fell unconscious. Mejia then began kicking the teen as she lay on the floor.

When detectives questioned Mejia about the incident, she admitted to kicking the teen, but didn't think she had done anything wrong. She went on to tell detectives that she resents her younger sister and wished that she hadn't been born.

An investigation was launched after school officials noticed that the teen had sustained bumps and bruises to her head, arms and legs. The teen told investigators that she was contemplating suicide.

Mejia was booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with felony injury to a child. Her bond has been set at $60,000.

Teacher Charged With Violently Raping Underage Foster Care Children

 Jodi Kirkpatrick, a 42-year-old science teacher Artesia Junior High School, was jailed Friday after she allegedly violently raped several foster children that were in her care.

According to police, Kirkpatrick's sex offender ex-husband, Richard Glascoe, was sentenced to a 25 year sentence after he was found guilty of raping three 7-year-old children that were in foster care.

Investigators say Kirkpatrick and Glascoe forced a 6-year-old foster child to have sex with them between 2003 and 2006.

Another foster child was allegedly handcuffed and threatened with a gun and a knife on several occasions. The child was then forced to watch Kirkpatrick and Glascoe sexually assault a toddler, according to detectives.

Kirkpatrick and Glascoe reportedly divorced around the time Glascoe was charged with sexually assaulting three children.

Kirkpatrick was jailed and charged with five counts of criminal sexual penetration, five counts of kidnapping, and five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Kirkpatrick has been placed on administrative leave by the school district pending the outcome of the investigation.

Company Fires Bus Driver For Uppercutting Passenger

Artis Hughes, the Cleveland bus driver who infamously and viciously uppercutted 25-year-old Shi'dea Lane, a female passenger, has been fired by the bus company he worked for. The Regional Transit Authority in Cleveland announced that Hughes was terminated from employment for not following proper procedure and ultimately assaulting the woman back in September.

The Regional Transit Authority explained the reasoning behind their decision in an announcement.

"Mr. Hughes claims that his actions were in self-defense. The evidence does not support that claim. We expect our employees to diffuse any potential situation. We do not believe that Mr. Hughes took the proper steps to diffuse this situation. The proper procedure would have been to pull over and stop the bus, then call Transit Police for assistance."

Despite finding the bus driver at fault for the situation, the Regional Transit Authority did state that female passenger is also to blame in the matter.

"The customer was out of line and charges have been filed against her."

Charged With Scalding Baby With Boiling Water Because Child Wouldn't Stop Crying

Michelle Woodhouse-Deboyes, a 33-year-old North Carolina woman was jailed Tuesday after she allegedly poured scalding hot water on her 9-month-old daughter because the child wouldn't stop crying.

According to the Onslow County Sheriff's Office, Woodbouse-Deboyes became angry when her 9-month-old daughter wouldn't stop crying.

In retaliation, Woodhouse-Deboyes allegedly poured scalding water on her daughter. When the baby still wouldn't stop crying, Woodhouse-Deboyes allegedly flipped the child's car seat over, bruising her daughter's face. She then proceeded to grind the baby's face into the hot water that had puddled on the floor.

The child reportedly suffered second-degree burns to approximately 12% of her body. She was taken to Chapel Hill Burn Center where she was treated for the next 10 days.

Woodhouse-Deboyes was booked into the Onslow County Jail and charged with felony child abuse inflicting serious injury. Woodhouse-Deboyes remains jailed in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Curtis Howard, a 32-year-old Kentucky man was jailed Thursday - accused of committing 250 sex offenses including rape, sodomy and incest.

According to Kentucky State Police, an investigation was launched Wednesday when Howard's wife contacted police while the family was preparing to move to Mercer County.

Investigators say Howard is accused of physically and sexually abusing his wife and a family relative. The alleged sexual abuse was occurred on an ongoing basis over a 5-6 month period.

Howard was booked into the Casey County Jail and charged with 100 counts of rape, 100 counts of sodomy and 50 counts of incest.

Howard has a long arrest history in multiple states and was listed on the sex offender registry after he was convicted of lewd or lascivious battery involving a victim aged 12-15 years old.

Woman Arrested After Stabbing Two Children More Than 150 Times Because She Was Upset With Her Husband

 Elzbieta Plackowska, a 40-year-old Illinois woman has been charged with murder after she allegedly told two young children to get on their knees and pray before stabbing them more than 150 times.

According to Naperville police, Plackowska became enraged when her father passed away in Poland and her husband wasn't keen on the idea of moving back to the homeland to be closer to him.

In retaliation, Plackowska sought revenge on her husband by stabbing to death her own 7-year-old son and a 5-year-old girl she had agreed to babysit.

Investigators say Plackowska walked into a bedroom where her son and the little girl were busy jumping on a bed. Plackowska allegedly told her son that he was about to go to heaven before ordering him and the little girl to get on their knees and pray.

Following a short prayer, Plackowska produced a knife and stabbed her son more than 100 times as he pleaded for his life and told her that he loved her.

Plackowska then turned to the 5-year-old girl who begged for her life. Plackowska allegedly stabbed the little girl more than 50 times. She later told police that she stabbed the little girl to death because the girl was a witness to a crime.

Following the stabbings, Plackowska fled to a nearby church before making her way to a relative's home. The relative called police after Plackowska arrived at the home drenched in blood.

During a police interview, Plackowska first told officers that a stalker had broken into her town home and stabbed the children to death. A short time later she changed her story and stated that she heard voices from the devil and killed the children to save their souls.

Eventually, Plackowska told detectives that she stabbed the children because she was angry with her husband and wanted to hurt him the way he had hurt her.

When investigators entered Plackowska's home, they found her deceased son laying on the floor and the deceased girl laying on a bed. Two dogs were also found dead near the childrens' bodies.

Plackowska reportedly came to the United States from Poland 12 years ago and wanted to move back. Her husband was against the idea.

Police were dispatched to the grisly scene after Plackowska's older son called 911. Plackowska's husband works as a truck driver and was reportedly out of town when the murders took place.

Plackowska was booked into jail and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Bail has been denied in the case.
