Arrested After Setting Her Boyfriend's Bed On Fire While He Was Sleep
According to the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the couple's home Sunday when Porterfield punched her boyfriend and then chased him out of the house with a kitchen knife.
Porterfield told arriving deputies that she and her boyfriend got into an argument when she sent him a text message asking when he would be home, and the boyfriend responded in an aggressive, vulgar manner.
She also stated that her boyfriend came home, grabbed her by the neck and began choking her.
When deputies checked the boyfriend's cell phone, they found no text messages that substantiated the woman's story. Porterfield also did not appear injured, so deputies determined that she was the aggressor in the incident and left to seek a warrant for her arrest.
Deputies were called back to the couple's residence on Monday after receiving reports that the couple's house was on fire. Investigators arrived to find the home completely engulfed in flames.
The boyfriend told investigators that he was awakened by Porterfield who demanded that he "get out of her bed."
Porterfield then allegedly poured kerosene around the bed and set it on fire.
Firefighters were unable to subdue the fire, which inevitably reduced the home to smoldering rubble.
Porterfield was booked into jail and charged with third-degree arson and criminal domestic violence.

Woman Charged With Sleeping With Her Boyfriend's 7-Year-Old Son
Alicia Gaston, a 20-year-old Ohio woman has been jailed after she allegedly raped her boyfriend's 7-year-old son.According to police, Gaston was taken into custody after she confessed to having intercourse with her boyfriend's minor son. The alleged sexual contact reportedly took place in April, 2011.
Hamilton County Family Services officials - who have been charged with monitoring the child - stated that the agency was unaware of the abuse and didn't know why it hadn't been reported until now.
Gaston was booked into the Hamilton County Jail and charged with sexual intercourse with a minor - statutory rape. Her bail has been set at $75,000.

Arrested After Nearly Beating His Grandmother To Death With A Hammer & Burglarizing Her Home
According to the Mesa Police Department, Seely reportedly went to his grandparent's residence with the intention of apologizing for his recent bad behavior.
He spoke to his grandfather, who was leaving to go to a doctor's appointment and told him that he needed to leave. The two men then left the residence at the same time.
Investigators say Seely did not leave entirely, but instead circled around the block and returned to his grandparent's home. He then entered the residence through a back door, found a hammer and used it to repeatedly strike his grandmother in the head.

Woman Murders Her Boyfriend Because He Only Gave Her Flowers & A Card For Mother's Day
Police received a call reporting the stabbing shortly after midnight at a home in the 2300 block of Pope Street, according to Ofc. Veronica Payton.
The victim, Clifton Barkin, 22, was dead at the scene.
The suspect, Paige Parkerson, 20, is the victim's live-in girlfriend and mother of his children, according to police.
The woman and boyfriend had been arguing about the Mothers Day holiday. Police say the argument becamse violent when the woman stabbed the victim with a knife.
Officers arrested the woman and took her to the police station where she gave a statement to detectives. She was then transported to the Jefferson County Jail and charged with murder.

Mother Abandons Her Baby At A Motel To Sell Food Stamps
Marlene Mieses,
a 24-year-old Florida woman was jailed Monday after she allegedly left
her 11-month-old son alone in a motel room to sell food stamps.According to police, officers were dispatched to the Seven Seas Motel in Miami after the housekeeping staff found an 11-month-old baby abandoned in a motel room.
Investigators say the baby was found in a playpen with blankets and a bottle of milk. Mieses arrived back at the motel about two-and-a-half hours after the child was found alone.
Mieses told detectives that she left the child behind to sell food stamps in North Miami. She stated that she didn't bring the baby with her because it was raining and she didn't want the baby to get wet.
Mieses is currently pregnant with another child, police say.
Mieses was booked into jail and charged with child neglect. Child welfare workers placed the child into protective custody.

Woman Murders Her Husband Over Cigarettes
According to
Jacksonville police, Officers were called to the scene around 5:30 a.m.
after Stills reportedly stabbed the victim, identified as 56-year-old
Ricardo McMillian, during an argument about cigarettes.

Stripper Leaves Toddler Alone In House Full Of Feces
Rhonda Judith Perry, a 25-year-old Tampa woman was jailed
Wednesday after she allegedly left her 2-year-old son alone in a filthy
home while she was at work at a local strip club.
According
to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Perry's neighbor called
police after she allegedly heard the child crying inside her residence.
When officers arrived on the scene, they looked through a window and saw the child crying, wearing only a dirty shirt and no diaper. There were no adults at the residence.

30-Year-Old Florida Teacher's Aide Caught In Bed With A 16-Year-Old Disabled Student!
Artia Patrice Davis, a 30-year-old teacher's aide at Hamilton Disston School was jailed after she was allegedly caught with a 16-year-old disabled student in her bed.According to police, an investigation was launched after receiving several reports that Davis was having an inappropriate relationship with an underage student.
Officers had gone to the teacher's home to investigate further when they discovered the same 16-year-old student lying in her bed.
The alleged relationship between Davis and the student began in November, 2011 and continued until May of this year.
Davis was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor. Her bond has been set at $10,000.

Man Charged With Incest And Bestiality After Molesting A Family Member And A Dog
Samuel Scott, a 39-year-old Iowa man has been charged with sexually
assaulting a family member over a 4 year period - with at least one
incident involving bestiality.According to police, Scott allegedly engaged in sex with a family member beginning in 2008 when the girl was underage. The abuse allegedly continued for the next four years - with at least one encounter involving a dog.
Scott was booked into the Floyd County Jail and charged with 14 counts of incest, 13 counts of third-degree sexual abuse, two counts of lascivious acts with a minor, bestiality and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.
He has pleaded 'not guilty' to the charges and is being held in lieu of $208,000 bond. The trial is set to begin on May 22.

Mother Burns Her 15-Month-Old Son's Genitals With A Straightening Iron
Jodi Rock, 19, of Tahlequah, remains in the Cherokee County jail on $200,000 bail on a complaint of felony injury to a minor child.
Rock allegedly confessed to investigators she burned her son’s genitals with a flat iron hair straightener, according to a 3-page arrest affidavit. The toddler’s mother told investigators she was straightening her hair and that she touched her hand to the iron then she took and closed the iron’s clamps on the toddler’s genitals, the affidavit says.
The child had three burns across the genital area, starting on the inside of his right thigh across his testicles and on to the left inner thigh, the affidavit states.
Several fractures were found on the child’s his left shoulder and 12-week-old fractures were found on his right shoulder, according to an arrest affidavit. “The burn to the left inner thigh appeared to have marks indicating a pinch,” the affidavit states.
The child also had forearm and wrist fractures that were somewhere between a day-old and 12-weeks-old and the bones in the forearm and wrists had never been properly set, the affidavit states.
Investigators observed the toddler to be “glassy eyed” and “withdrawn” and his shoulder had a deformity and the child appeared to be in “agony,” the affidavit states.

Woman Stabs Her Boyfriend To Death For Cheating
Latoya Baines, a 24-year-old Batavia woman was jailed Monday after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death because she thought he was cheating on her.
According to the Batavia Police Department, officers found an unresponsive man in a stairwell at Batavia Apartments, bleeding from apparent stab wounds.
Baines and another woman were also found having a physical altercation at the bottom of the stairs. Officers recovered three knives from the scene.

Investigators say the victim, identified as 25-year-old Gerald J. Jackson, was rushed to Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva, where he was later pronounced dead. Detectives determined that Baines,
a mother of two, stabbed the victim during a domestic dispute brought
on by her suspicions of him cheating on her with the woman she was
fighting with.

described her as an "upstanding young woman" during her court

Charged With Cutting Off A Man's Penis, Then Stabbing Him To Death
Cristal Richardson, a 28-year-old Texas woman has been jailed after she
allegedly cut off a man's penis and then stabbed him to death.According to police, officers were dispatched to a Dallas Motel 6 early Saturday morning after a security guard heard a loud argument coming from a third floor and went to check on it.
When the security guard reached the third floor, he encountered Richardson walking down the hall naked and covered in blood.
Investigators say Richardson had checked into the room alone the previous day.
Officers arrived at the motel to find a recently deceased man inside Richardson's room. The man had been repeatedly stabbed with his throat cut. His penis and scrotum had also been cut off, according to an arrest affidavit.
Richardson was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
A search of the room revealed a large bloody folding knife. The victim, identified as 34-year-old Cedric Owens, has an extensive criminal history that includes aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, theft, drug possession and drunk driving.
Richardson, who is also a convicted felon, was booked into jail on murder charges. No bail has been set in the case.

Mother Punishes Her Baby By Pouring Boiling Water Over His Head
Reports
suggest that a merciless Florida mother is arrested; for killing her
son by putting him under sweltering hot water. Since April 16, Emilio
Jesus Bautista had been living terrible life as the 7-week-old was
subjected to horrible physical torture at the hands of his mother
Chekayla Ariel Dampier. Eventually, the toddler died last week.

helpless boy under the hot-water tap; because he would not stop crying.
Held on on $150,000 bail for aggravated child abuse, the cruel woman
‘punished’ her son by pouring 142 degree water; right over his head.
This caused the toddler extensive burn injuries to his head, neck,
shoulders, arms and chest; the poor baby boy also suffered severe,
second-degree burns to both his eyes and ears.

temperature reached 142 degrees; she then held her son under the water
for at least two to three minutes. As result of that, when the mother
tried to dry the baby; the entire skin of the affected areas felt
peeling and bubbling. Brought at the Morton Plant North Bay Hospital
initially, the child was airlifted to Tampa General Paediatric Burn Unit
injuries since the burns were too severe.
According
to a report filed with Pasco Sheriff’s office, during an attempt to
remove the infant’s shirt, his left nipple was completely pulled off.
After living for a week or so after the incident, the poor child
succumbed to his burn injuries at the hospital

Woman Arrested After Repeatedly Stabbing Her Baby During A Supervised Visit
According to Baltimore City Police, Thomas was attending a supervised visitation session at an East Baltimore Social Services office Tuesday when she suddenly pulled out a long knife and began repeatedly stabbing her 8-month-old daughter.
Investigators say Thomas, who does not have custody of her daughter, complained about the care her daughter was receiving and told the Social Services worker that she could do a better job caring for the child.
When the worker informed Thomas that the visitation session was about to end, Thomas allegedly laid the child down on a table and stated "It is about to be over."
That's when Thomas reached into a bag, pulled out a long kitchen knife and began savagely stabbing the child in the neck and body.
Thomas continued to stab the child until another Social Services worker struck Thomas with a chair to end the assault. The worker pulled the knife from the baby's neck and rushed her to safety.
The baby, identified as Pretty Diamond, sustained at least 5 stab wounds to her face, neck and body.
Witnesses told police Thomas was heard stating "Lock me up. If I can't have her, no one will. I hope she's dead."
Thomas was booked into jail and charged with attempted murder, child abuse and assault.
