9-Year-Old Girl Gives Birth And The Police Are Looking For The 17-Year-Old Father
Authorities say a nine-year-old girl has given birth in western Mexico and they are looking for the purported father, a 17-year-old.
Jalisco state police spokesman Lino Gonzalez says the baby girl was born last week at a hospital in the city of Guadalajara. He says the girl and her baby are doing well.
Gonzalez said Wednesday that the girl's family alerted authorities after she gave birth and the alleged father has not been seen since in the neighbourhood they both live in.
He says that if the teenager's paternity is proven he could face child sex abuse charges.
Gonzalez says the girl told authorities the teenager was her boyfriend.

Man Arrested After Walking Into Applebees Dressed As The Joker And Harassing Customers
Aaron Chase, a 24-year-old Jamestown man was jailed Sunday after he allegedly entered a local Applebees restaurant dressed as the joker and began harassing customers.
According to Lakewood-Busti Police, Chase entered a Busti area Applebees while donning a green wig and Joker style make up.
Investigators say Chase then sat down at the bar and demanded to be served even though he had no money with him.
When Chase was asked to leave the establishment, he refused and began harassing other people at the bar. An employee at the restaurant called police after chase ignored several requests to vacate the premises.
Officers arrived on the scene and took Chase into custody without further incident.
Chase was transported to Woman's Christian Association (WCA) Hospital for a mental evaluation and then booked into jail on a charge of trespassing.

Inmate Who Was Arrested For Trying To Impregnate A Horse Commits Suicide
Andrew Mendoza, a 29-year-old Wharton County man was jailed after he allegedly had sex with a horse, then told investigators that he was attempting to get the animal pregnant.
According to the Wharton County Sheriff's Office, Mendoza admitted to having sex with a horse, explaining that he decided on the encounter after his girlfriend stood him up.
During a police interview, Mendoza stated that he was waiting to hear from his girlfriend when he decided to have sex with a horse if the woman failed to call him. Mendoza went ahead and put his plan into action when the woman never called.
Mendoza also told investigators that he planned to get the horse pregnant, hoping the encounter would produce a "horseman baby."
He then went into details about the encounter, explaining “I ain’t going to lie, I blew a nut in the horse. I then got off the bucket and put my clothes back on and left. I promise that I have not been back over to the horse since that time.”
Mendoza was booked into the Wharton County Jail and charged with public lewdness and criminal trespass. He was sentenced to four months in prison.
In a second case, Mendoza was charged with indecency of a child and trespassing. Before he couldcomplete his sentence, Mendoza committed suicide by hanging himself in his jail cell.

Mom Arrested After 9-Month-Old Son Found Weighing Less Than 8 Pounds
A Houston mother was arrested and charged with injury to a child by omission after investigators said her 8-month-old baby was hospitalized weighing less than 8 pounds.
In November 2012 the child was Life Flighted to Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital and was diagnosed as being severely malnourished. A Child Protective Services worker said the 8-month-old was hypoglycemic and weighted only 7 pounds and 9 ounces. A child normally weights 17 pounds at that stage of life. Investigators said the child’s rib cage could be seen and his stomach was sunken in.
The mother said the baby was born 28 weeks premature and weighed 2 pounds at birth. She said the baby was hospitalized from his birth on Feb. 29 to May 5. She said the baby was having problems holding milk down and was consistently vomiting.
CPS took custody of the baby, as well as two of his brothers.
Bledsoe was released on $20,000 bond and was expected to appear in court Tuesday morning.

Rhiannon Noell Stefanick, a 23-year-old Greenwich woman was arraigned Tuesday after she allegedly knocked out a woman's teeth with a tire iron before fleeing the scene.
According to police, officers were dispatched after receiving a report that a woman had just been attacked in front of Liberation House, a localdrug treatment facility.
Arriving officers found the victim, who had been beaten to the ground with her teeth knocked out. She was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
During questioning, the victim was forced to type her responses, because of her injuries. she told detectives that she began receiving threatening calls shortly after meeting a man the week before.
On the day of the incident, a woman identified as Stefanick approached her with a tire iron and stated "I told you not to mess with my man." That's when Stefanick allegedly commenced with beating the victim.
A witness at the scene reported that a car had been parked across the street from Liberation House for at least an hour prior to the attack. The victim later picked Stefanick out from a police line up.
Stefanick was booked into jail and charged with first-degree felony assault. She was released after posting $25,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on February 14th.
