Arrested After Anally Raping A Child's Rectum With A Brush Handle

Becky Burlison, a 39-year-old Tennessee woman was jailed Thursday after she allegedly raped a toddler with a 4-inch long brush handle.

According to police, Burlison was babysitting a friend's 2-year-old child when she forced a 4-inch long brush handle into the child's rectum.

Investigators say Burlison was forcing the handle into the child's rectum for a second time when the handle broke off.

The child was rushed to a hospital for treatment, and the handle was removed from the child's rectum without surgery.

During questioning, Burlison stated that she was attempting to relieve the child's constipation when the brush she was using broke off inside the child's rectum.

She was booked into jail and charged with two counts of aggravated child rape and felony child abuse. Her bond has been set at $200,000.
