Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Melba Marsh offered to keep 19-year-old Damaine Mitchell out of jail and clear his record if he went to treatment and gave up marijuana, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
His response?
That would be "a challenge," Mitchell told Marsh, adding he likes smoking weed and has been doing so since he was 10 years old.
Eventually, Mitchell said he'd try to quit, but not before asking if he could "at least get one more joint in?"
An astonished Marsh quickly said no. She ordered Mitchell to return to court next week for a decision on his drug trafficking case, according to The Associated Press.
