Beaumont Police say a woman is accused of stabbing and killing her boyfriend during an argument about Mothers Day.
Police received a call reporting the stabbing shortly after
midnight at a home in the 2300 block of Pope Street, according to Ofc.

The victim, Clifton Barkin, 22, was dead at the scene.
The suspect, Paige Parkerson, 20, is the victim's live-in girlfriend and mother of his children, according to police.
The woman and boyfriend had been arguing about the Mothers Day
holiday. Police say the argument becamse violent when the woman stabbed
the victim with a knife.
Officers arrested the woman and took her to the police station
where she gave a statement to detectives. She was then transported to
the Jefferson County Jail and charged with murder.
