Babysitter Admits Sexually Abusing Three Siblings

Calling him a danger to the community,  the St. Louis prosecutor says a 34 year old man should spend his life in prison.

Prosecutor Jennifer Joyce says Timothy Broadway admits he sexually abused three siblings, two sisters and their brother, all under the age of ten for about a year.

Broadway plead guilty to several counts of sexual abuse of the children.  Joyce says the abuse took place in the city of St. Louis as well as in St. Louis county.

 Investigators say Broadway was the best friend of the victim’s mother and she allowed him to babysit.  The children told police that Broadway threatened to hurt them and their parents if they ever told anyone.  One of the siblings finally told their mother what was happening and the parents immediately went to police.

Joyce says with cases like this there is always a concern that there could be more victims.  Sentencing for Broadway is set for May.
