Women Arrested For Running Over Three Children After Arguing With Their Mother

Megan Walker, a 22-year-old Georgia woman was jailed Friday after she allegedly ran over three children after getting into an argument at a school bus stop.

According to Savannah-Chatham Metro Police, Latisha Mitchell was picking up her three children at a bus stop when an argument broke out between her and another woman, identified as Megan Walker.

Mitchell told police she had turned and walked away when Walker allegedly got into her car and punched the gas.

Walker then allegedly aimed her vehicle at the woman and her children - striking all three children.

"I would have preferred her to hit me and not them," said Mitchell. "I tried pushing them out of the way, but I couldn't."

Investigators say the children (ages 6 to 10) were taken to a local hospital where they received treatment for non-life threatening injuries (shock, broken bones and bruising).

Walker originally fled in her vehicle, but returned after she saw police and emergency crews headed towards the scene .

She was booked into jail and charged with three counts of aggravated assault and fleeing to elude.
