Should A Couple Shack Up Before Getting Married?

Me and my girl have been together for a little over and year and we both want to get married. The only thing that we can't seem to see eye to eye on is our living arrangement. I feel that we should live together for a while to determine whether we're really making the right choice, but she doesn't want to live in the same house until we're married.

I wanna know if you think it's better for a couple to shack up before they're married to get a better feel for each other.



SpeekDaTroof: Honestly, I think so...They say you never really know a person until you've lived with them, and to some degree that's true.


You can get to know how a person is personality wise without staying in the same home, but you don't actually know how that person lives.


You don't have a clear picture of their daily household habits, plus living together gives you a better feel about being around that person 24/7, because you may see things you normally don't see because you're not around them all the time.
