Aaron Hickman, a 20-year-old Syracuse man was jailed
Thursday after he allegedly poisoned his nephews by pouring bleach in
their milk.
According
to Syracuse police, Hickman was reportedly living with his brother,
his brother's girlfriend, and the couple's two sons, when he and his
brother got into an argument.
At the conclusion of the argument, the brother told Hickman that he needed to move out immediately. That news didn't sit well with Hickman.
In retaliation, Hickman allegedly poured bleach into a container of milk that he found in the couple's refrigerator. The next morning, the children (ages 1 and 3) drank the tainted milk and began vomiting.

they had been poisoned. They were treated and released.
Detectives apprehended Hickman, who admitted to putting bleach in the milk.
Hickman stated that his brother was upset with him because he hadn't helped with rent or other related bills while he stayed with the couple. He also claimed that the couple called him "slow and stupid" on numerous occasions.
